Enyart says coal still key for energy future

CARTERVILLE — Calling for an end to coal may be popular in some political circles, but U.S. Rep. Bill Enyart says it’s not realistic or even advisable to help the U.S. energy picture.
The Democrat congressman stopped by the SIU Coal Research Center’s Carterville facility Monday afternoon for a tour and some face time with the center’s director, Tomasz Wiltowski.
